Facilities across the Midwest. We provide long-term solutions for pigeons, starlings, and sparrows in large structures where bird pressure creates sanitation risks, safety hazards, and operational disruptions.
Our bird netting systems are engineered for warehouses, manufacturing plants, food facilities, aviation hangars, rail facilities, and distribution centers throughout the Midwestern United States.
Midwestern states experience some of the heaviest commercial bird pressure in the country due to:
Facilities in cities like Chicago, Minneapolis, Kansas City, Omaha, Des Moines, Milwaukee, St. Louis, Indianapolis, Fargo, and Sioux Falls routinely experience persistent bird issues that cannot be solved with short-term deterrents.
Bird netting is the most reliable, permanent solution for these environments.
Pigeons create heavy droppings, slip hazards, corrosion issues, and contamination risks. Netting prevents roosting on beams, ledges, trusses, and dock canopies.
Starlings enter through large openings and rapidly form flocks inside facilities. Netting blocks access to interior rooflines and overhead structures.
House sparrows exploit small gaps and overhead cavities. Netting seals complex structural areas where sparrows repeatedly nest.
Midwest Bird Control installs bird netting for:
Protecting pallet racks, conveyors, dock doors, and overhead steel.
Preventing contamination, audit failures, and shutdown risks.
Eliminating birds above production lines and equipment.
Blocking pigeons and starlings from rafters, trusses, and tail sections.
Protecting loading areas, covered platforms, and maintenance bays.
Commercial bird netting creates a physical exclusion barrier that permanently denies access to targeted areas.
Our installations include:
Netting is discreet, durable, and designed to last 10–20+ years in Midwestern climates.
Unlike spikes, sound devices, or visual deterrents, bird netting:
This makes it the preferred solution for regulated, high-risk, and high-value facilities.

We regularly travel for large-scale projects and multi-facility contracts.

This national online retailer built many warehouses and canopies across the United States. They were being proactive in keeping birds out of their expansive canopies before birds became a problem. Midwest Bird Control was contracted by FCL Builders, INC to do that work.

The first task every day of any bird netting project Midwest Bird Control does is time to gather as workers and pray for each other. It helps to pray for your fellow man, then we are able to go over safety on the jobsite and tasks are given to each man.

Installing the hardware and cable is very important as that is what the netting will attach to when pulled tight. Did you know that corners of netting can be the weakest parts of a whole netting system? We do and that is why quality control is a must and one we take seriously

We used Bird B Gone 3/4" black heavy duty bird netting on this project. 2 canopies covering 128,000 square feet of canopy underneath. Zippers were installed wherever access would be needed behind the netting.

This project was completed in 13 total working days with 7 amazing rockstar bird netting installers. We have a system that not only allows the netting to go up quickly but also very effectively without losing any quality.

The result is professionally installed bird nets keeping birds out for years to come and a satisfied customer. This is why we can say, Birds Hate Us, Customers Love Us.

We work exclusively with commercial and industrial properties.
Bird netting is not an add-on — it is a core service.
We understand structural design, climate challenges, and regional bird pressure.
Lift-certified crews, safety-compliant installs, and long-term results.
If your facility is experiencing bird issues, Midwest Bird Control can design a custom bird netting solution engineered for your building and industry.

Protect your facility, maintain compliance, and eliminate bird pressure with professional commercial bird netting across the Midwest.
Commercial bird netting is a physical exclusion system designed to prevent birds from accessing overhead areas such as rafters, beams, canopies, dock areas, and structural voids at commercial and industrial facilities.
Bird netting is commonly used at warehouses, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, parking garages, agricultural facilities, rail locations, bridges, canopies, and covered work areas where birds roost or nest.
Commercial bird netting is highly effective at controlling pigeons, house sparrows, European starlings, and seagulls by physically blocking access to roosting and nesting locations.
When properly designed and professionally installed, bird netting provides a long-term solution. It prevents birds from returning to treated areas rather than simply discouraging them temporarily.
Yes. Installations are planned and coordinated with facility management to minimize disruption to operations, production schedules, and site access.
Yes. Bird netting is commonly used in large open environments such as high-bay warehouses, aircraft hangars, loading docks, and industrial canopies where other deterrents are ineffective.
Yes. Commercial bird netting is a humane exclusion method that prevents birds from entering problem areas without causing harm when installed correctly.
Professional-grade bird netting systems are designed to withstand wind, snow loads, temperature changes, and other environmental conditions common in industrial settings.
Each installation is site-specific. Netting layout, attachment points, mesh size, and access considerations are designed around the facility’s structure, bird pressure, and operational needs.
Common areas include overhead steel, rafters, dock canopies, ceiling voids, parking structures, bridge undersides, conveyor areas, and covered equipment zones.
The process begins with an on-site assessment to evaluate bird activity, structure layout, and access points. A tailored netting plan is then developed for long-term control.
