Know Your Bird Pressure: bird roosting vs nesting

Light Pressure

Birds come and go on these spots infrequently with little preference for the location. This bird pressure is similar to a neighborhood park bench you occasionally sit on.

The majority of bird control jobs Midwest Bird Control handles are not a light pressure situation.

Medium Pressure

With medium pressure the birds are not as committed to a specific site. The location allows the bird to survey the area below for food or safely watch for predators.

Heavy Pressure

The majority of bird problems are considered heavy pressure. In this situation the birds are committed to the specific site and are usually heavily roosting and nesting. These birds are considered "resident" birds and will fight against any attempt to remove them. Bird nesting material and large amounts of bird droppings are a clear indication of heavy bird pressure.

The Midwest Bird Control Team are experienced at humanely "forcing" the birds to leave. Each of these situations are uniquely handled. Products such as Bird Net, Shock Track, and Shooting/Trapping are permanent solutions often used in a heavy bird pressure situations.
