This was a government project done around what the industry calls "fish bowls" on the sides of the building near the top. Big predatory birds were getting trapped in the windows that were about 8' deep. They were chasing the big spiders that were inside those for food and then because of their wingspan, couldn't fly back out. Midwest Bird Control was called in to install bird wire
Jobs like these don't come along as much and here our team was learning how to maneuver the window washing platform. This picture, they are just over the top parapet of the building about to descend.
Extreme heights are a possible situation in the work of bird control. A mere 420 feet to the ground at this location
The result, bird wire attached a little more differently than normal bird wire posts due to the design of the structure. This also gives you an insight of the depths of these "fish bowls".
