This structure has many purposes throughout the year including the Nebraska state fair. Many events with booths set up and birds were becoming quite the nuisance nesting inside the insulation around the top and on the many beams and fans.
Midwest Bird Control was called in to eliminate the bird issue completely forcing them to leave and find new places to nest and roost
Cable and hardware installation is key to a successful bird netting install. The design of how the netting system goes up is the first step followed by tedious hardware put up in the correct places to be able to handle the heaviness of the bigger nets
This structure was almost 50,000 square feet of space and we ended up installing smaller nets per each bay and then bigger nets across the middle and zippers installed where needed for access behind the nets
One of the many specialties we have with bird netting installs is the way we are able to custom install netting over, around, behind, or under objects. In this case, the Big *** Fans (that is what they are called), we had to take the blades off each of the 4 fans, put netting up at angles on the angled beam supports and across the top and reinstall the fan blades and test to make sure the blades don't hit the netting
The finished product is netting across the entire underside of the swine building keeping birds out for years to come. This is why we can confidently say:
Birds Hate Us, Customers Love Us
